MIM Day 4: Quiver

Two days ago, a wave of donations catapulted my sponsorship total to over $2,000! Your acts of kindness have pushed my daily meditation practice up from 30 to 40 mins... pfwah.

Let me tell you, for me, this is not just a 10-minute difference. It's a different experience all together, a heightened encounter, and has inspired an intensification of my commitment.

This morning, about half way in and amidst a little body pain and traffic noise, just from one moment to the next, my huge mind focused its entire expanse on one experience - breathing.

It lasted some time. Quivering on the edge of letting go and grasping, I felt a swell of gratitude.

~~

With me I'd taken Lao-Tzu...

Live in a good place.
Keep your mind deep.
Treat others well.
Stand by your word.
Make fair rules.
Do the right thing.
Work when it's time.

Only do not contend.
And you will not go wrong.
