watery potential on fire

this is what water feels like, when it's boiling and bubbling and popping, and someone has left the lid on 12 minutes too long. the watery potential in my micro-verse is bursting dramatically but invisibly against the underside of a greasy lid - my will. and when it does find a crack of air at my rim, it attempts without hesitation to explode forth and fly. however, the energy this takes is so enormous that once outside, there is nothing left of its potential but a bubbly, frothy kind of drool that faints down the side of the pot and crawls, dreamless and sad, towards the shimmery steel below.

sizzle.

sizzle.

and then, silence.

(please god, help me help myself to launch my vision, soon.)
