hate in the morning

Kantipur Temple, Kathmandu

Early morning and how I hate the black crowe outside my window. Relentless, hoarse, negative, dark in spirit too. Croaking indefinitely, barely a breath between croaks, taking away all the surrounding silence and its possibilities. Early morning, and how I hate that black crowe.

could the challenge be to not hate the crow? the word and emotion hate has nothing to do with the crow and all to do with yourself. difficult, but according to the Toltecs - true. If you hate the crow, you wind up hating yourself.
If you love the crow, you will overcome what you hate about the crow (and yourself), and move away from using the power of word and thought in a negative way. or something like that. let me look it up in my book tonight...
