question. how far should one go to look gorgeous on their wedding day?despite the answer, i've always found it sad visiting a married woman's house, when she's fat from children and cooking and tired from that and more, and everywhere you look there are pictures of her on her wedding day. thin, flawless, beauitful. "ah, so beautiful" you say, with pity in your heart.

And tell me, how are yóu coping with getting fatter and being tired? With loosing yourself in a world you thought was going to be a little bit more like heaven?
We people like to follow our dreams. But sometimes we should rather think a little bit before jumping into a world that actually could turn into a nightmare...
Then it would be nice to introduce some tweaks to the traditional nuptial preparation, whereby brides- and grooms-to-be are injected with filthy liquid fat and smeared with pungent muck before being festooned in the ragged hides and bowels of slaughtered livestock.
in so doing, we would create the conditions for a brighter future in which visitors to the matrimonial home would think to themselves 'good heavens, how much more fragrant and savoury are our lovely hosts, than they appear in these frankly terrifying wedding photographs.'
this would continue until middle-age. then things would balance out.
elba is back ladies and gentlmen. elba is back.
fabio: i bet people do think about. i know they do. but we're very attached to our expectations. it's really our own fault for allowing ourselves to be self-deceptive.
